Rodent Exclusion Services

STEP 1

Rodent Exclusion Survey:

The property is thoroughly inspected for rodent activity, damage, access points, and potential future issues. Our technician will take photos of issues, and discuss findings with the homeowner.

Charges for this service are based on home square footage.

  • Under 1500 - $285

  • 1500-3000 - $325

  • 3001-4500 - $365

  • 4501-6000 - $425

STEP 2

Repairs & Behavior Changes

If repairs are needed to protect the property from rodents, the technician will discuss these with you. Small accessible gaps or crawl space door repairs can often be repaired by our technician; you would receive a bid for review and approval before completing repairs. We recommend a contractor for larger projects or homes that need structural repairs.

Behavior changes that may be recommended include storing pet food in secure containers, not feeding wildlife, and moving clutter/firewood/ etc. away from the home. These steps are necessary to reduce the need for ongoing rodenticide use and to gain control. Rodenticides work when rodents feed on them. If you have easy access to food and water other than the rodenticide, it may not effectively manage the rodent population.

STEP 3

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Pest management is ongoing. Services are close together until we gain some control and then gradually move further apart. Depending on your property's unique needs, we have several options for continued integrated pest management.

Follow-up services start at $85 per visit, plus rebait fees (applied at each follow-up service).

  • Rodent Bait Stations (RBS) with Rodenticide - Two RBS are included in this service, additional RBS are $15 for each service.

  • Rodent Bait Station with Rodent Contraceptive - $49

Please feel free to request copies of our product labels and safety data sheets via email at office@bipestmanagement.com.

About our No-Kill Option – Rodent Contraceptive

  • Designed to be humane.

  • Does not bioaccumulate and, therefore, does not travel up the food chain, impacting non-target species populations.

  • It works. Studies show that when used as part of an integrated pest management (IPM) program, it can reduce rat populations by more than 90% and sustain the reduced numbers.

  • It can take longer to see results (up to 3 months), but you will have longer-lasting results. It is also a more expensive product.
